Got up early this morning and went to the lobby to pick up the local Sunday newspaper. There in the Travel Section of The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead was the lead article about our own Siesta Beach. "Hey, you won't believe this but I live just about 20 minutes away from this beach." I should have also stated that depending on traffic that might be extended to 25-30 minutes but I didn't think they really cared about that. I went back to our room and said, "Hey, you won't believe this but . . ."
The article says that Siesta Beach has been declared the number one beach in the universe or at least in America. So it looks like we will see a dramatic improvement in our tourist population in the coming months.
I can't wait! Can you?
"Si" to Fargo! What a great trip you are having. Looks like such fun. Be careful what you wish for. Are you sure you want an influx of tourists coming into your quiet, little town????
